Special Session

Bonifay, Florida

The Holmes County Board of Commissioners met in a Special Session on the above date with the following members present: Commissioner Kenneth Williams, Commissioner Phillip Music, Commissioner Monty Merchant, Commissioner Jim King and Commissioner Raymon Thomas, Chairman of the Board.

Sherry Fitzpatrick, Deputy Clerk, was present and kept the minutes.

Tony Arrant, Small County Technical Assistance Services Program, went over some updates and changes that were needed to the Holmes County Comprehensive Plan. The Board agreed to make the updates and changes which would require a Large Scale Comprehensive Plan Amendment.

John Hagan, Projects Manager, presented the Board with information from Terry Campbell, First Communications, regarding the Prosperity Tower bid that was approved by the Board. The Board was concerned that the bid from First Communications did not include costs of installing electrical outlets needed. The Board agreed to hold the approval of the bid until the County Attorney could be consulted and until a First Communications representative could come to a Special Session meeting that would be called to make a decision on the issue.

There being no further business, the meeting stood adjourned.
