The Following is a list of Tax Deed Sales pending. For a copy of the title search and plat map of each file please send a check for $10 to the clerk's office at the address listed below and a self addressed stamped envelope. This info is public record and may viewed at any time for no charge in the office. If you would like to have any information faxed to you, please add an additional $5 and a fax number. You may set up an escrow account by sending $50 to the address below. If you do not purchase a package, please verify the property with the published notice in the Washington County News. If you are interested in bidding at a Tax Deed Auction, it is recommended that you come into the office and physically view file. You can also obtain information about the property at the Property Appraiser’s website www.washcofl.com If you wish to bid on a Tax Deed: You must appear in person or have someone to represent you Bids are for cash or cashier’s check. A $200 cash deposit at the time of sale and 24 hours to bring in balance. The successful bidder must pay the addition fees in addition to the bid: Documentary Stamps All tax deeds sales are held at 10:00am on the front courthouse steps unless posted to be sold in the courtroom.
