A marriage license, or a Civil Marriage ceremony by the office of The Clerk of Courts, may be obtained at the following location only: The Wakulla County Courthouse, 3056 Crawfordville Highway, Room 111, Crawfordville, FL.

Our Office Hours are: Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. You should arrive at the office no later than 4:00 p.m. No marriage ceremonies will be performed for those couples that arrive after 4:00 p.m.  Both parties must apply in person at the same time.

INFORMATION NECESSARY TO OBTAIN A MARRIAGE LICENSE:

The fee for a regular marriage license is $93.50. A bride and groom now have the option to take a premarital course. If a course is completed, the license fee will be reduced and the license is effective the same day as issued. The reduced fee marriage license is $61.00 and requires that premarital course certificates from registered course providers be presented at the time of application.  For a list of course providers, see below or call (850) 926-0301. Fees are payable in cash, cashiers check or money order made payable to the Clerk of Courts.

No expired I.D. will be accepted.
