Instructions For Payable Traffic Violations
The following information is provided to assist you in handling the traffic citation you have received. Please read carefully so you understand all options available to you.
Warning: If you do not wish to appear in court, and your appearance is not mandatory as indicated on the yellow Uniform Traffic Citation, you must choose one of the following options. Transactions for any option selected must be received in the Clerk’s Office within 30 days, as indicated on the citation. Failure to choose an option will result in the immediate suspension of your driver’s license and additional costs will be assessed.
Option 1. Mail Payment
Make your cashiers check or money order payable to the Clerk Of Courts, according to the schedule of civil payments below. Funds Must Be Drawn On A U.S. Bank. Enclose your Uniform Traffic Citation and payment in the attached preaddressed envelope. Do Not Mail Cash. By selecting this option, points may be assessed against your license.Payments can now be made online by credit card. Simply click on the link below.
Add $16.00 late fee if not paid within 30 days.
Option 2. Request To Attend Traffic School(See DIS link at bottom of page)
(Points will not be assessed against your license.)
