            The Lafayette County Commission will hold a regular meeting on Monday, November 9, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. The meeting will be held in the County Commissioner’s Meeting Room at the Lafayette County Courthouse in Mayo, Florida. Listed below is an agenda for the meeting.

LOCAL PLANNING AGENCY:

 

1.      Call the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m.

2.      Invocation and pledge to the flag.

3.      Consider the Evaluation and Appraisal report for the Comp Plan.

4.      Adjourn the Local Planning Agency meeting.

 

BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS:

 

5.      Open the Board of County Commissioners meeting.

6.      Approve the minutes.

7.      Marion McGee – U.S. Census Bureau.

8.      Special needs from the community.

A)    Lana Morgan – Supervisor of Elections.

9.      Department Heads:

A)    Marcus Calhoun – Maintenance.

B)     Edward Dodd – Public Works.

C)    Donnie Land – Public Safety.

D)    Bobby Johnson – Building/Zoning.

10.  Division of Forestry Annual Report.

11.  Adoption of the Evaluation and Appraisal report for the Comp Plan.

12.  Discuss vacant positions in various county departments.

13.  Leenette McMillan – various items.

14.  Approve the bills.

15.  New Business.

16.  Adjourn.

Florida Statute 286.0105, that any person or persons deciding to appeal any matter considered at this public hearing will need a record of the hearing and may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceeding is made which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
